Enjoy the fascinating world of bees with MIELA on a tour where you'll get up close and personal with bees. Learn all about the beehive products produced in the tropical dry forest at Hacienda La Pacífica, Cañas, Guanacaste.

You'll learn to identify the growth stages of bees, their roles within the hive, and the species' castes and their crucial role in life on the planet. You'll also be able to observe the native honey flora and fauna of the Guanacaste tropical dry forest.

You'll learn how different hive products are stored inside the hive, and experience and taste honey in its most natural state at the foot of the hive.
How you should prepare for this
experience?
Do not use perfumes or repellents.
You must wear appropriate clothing:
-Long pants
-Cotton T-shirt
-Closed high shoes
-Cap
We will provide you with a safe suit to enter the apiary.
If you are allergic to bee stings, you will NOT be able to participate in the Tour.
