We are a family business located in Cañas, Guanacaste. We are passionate about beekeeping, and this is how MIELA RIQUEZA DEL BOSQUE SECO was born in 2021 with the mission of connecting with the heart of the Tropical Dry Forest to create hive products that contribute to the health and well-being of people, while pollinating the native flora of the dry forest for its conservation.

The Tropical Dry Forest is one of the most threatened terrestrial environments and one of the rarest landscapes in Mesoamerica. In Guanacaste, we are blessed with this beautiful, resilient, and ever-changing landscape. This is why we have drawn inspiration from its beauty to create each product with a name alluding to a figure from the dry forest. The magic of the dry forest lies not only in its changing foliage during each dry and rainy season, but also in the organoleptic characteristics of the blooms during their peak, which are passed on to the honey, making each MIELA harvest completely authentic.
